Trip to Breathitt County

My Dad and I took a little trip to our roots in Breathitt county Ky yesterday. During our visit, we visited the Breathitt county courthouse in downtown Jackson. And visited a couple cementeries also(Billy Hall and Buck Herald cementery). This was such a valable trip for a couple of reasons. I now have a pretty knowledge of the land, and know where myself, siblings are originally from. And now I can document items for future generations.

Captain Joseph Hayes and Lt Solomon Hayes~Millers Cemetery White Township Ohio

Captain Joseph Hayes morgaged his farm to raise a company of calvary. Was know as one of Washington's Captains. His daughter Rebecca married Timothy Guard(Alexander's son)

Lt.Hayes is Capt Hayes son.
