The Ring

The wedding band that I wear on my finger is one of my most prized possessions. It is a wedding band my Dad wore for many years. As of this writing, Mom and Dad have been married 47 years. In a society of throw away marriage. This is a thing to be honored! I(we) are so blessed to have two parents that have stuck through thick and thin. They are not perfect, but they are real. I love my parents more and more every day. As they grow older, I realize they will not always be with me(us). I don't write this because they are sick or any other reason. But the Word(Bible) says to Honor your Father and Mother. And they are to be honored! Because they have honored their (our) God.

Lucy Blue Pizza

Last night was the lighting of the Christmas tree in the Main Strauss Village in Covington Kentucky. Santa arrived via a blazing red fire truck. The crowds were a lot heavier than last year. The word has gotten out.
When the activities were over I decided to surprise the girls,CC and Kateri with a bite to eat. But the place where I was going to take them had a little family history tied to it. The place is 611 Main street, and it is called Lucy Blue Pizza. And according to my mother's birth certificate. This is the house that she was born. So with this little bit of information, it really the main reason to visit the residence. Plus there was the purpose of filling our empty stomachs. The pizza was really good, and we had the opportunity to visit a little family history. We will be going back.

Corbin

Corbin is just a little over 24 weeks, and about 2lbs in this picture. And his odds seemed pretty slim, right about 10%. But God has a purpose and a plan for this little miricle. He is about ready to celebrate his second birthday. For those, who choose to do away with precious children at any stage of development. This is a child not a "choice".
