The Ring

The wedding band that I wear on my finger is one of my most prized possessions. It is a wedding band my Dad wore for many years. As of this writing, Mom and Dad have been married 47 years. In a society of throw away marriage. This is a thing to be honored! I(we) are so blessed to have two parents that have stuck through thick and thin. They are not perfect, but they are real. I love my parents more and more every day. As they grow older, I realize they will not always be with me(us). I don't write this because they are sick or any other reason. But the Word(Bible) says to Honor your Father and Mother. And they are to be honored! Because they have honored their (our) God.
